With the financial support of the United Way and the Connecticut Community Foundation, the Hispanic Coalition will launch a Vocational English as a Second Language program that will include a vocational Health component resulting on a CNA Certification.

The Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection is helping to fund the Hispanic Coalition’s Vamos a Pescar program. The funding will allow our seniors and youth to learn about fishing, safety, and culminating with a great fishing experience.

The Hispanic Coalition receives the Woman's Sports Foundation and espnW Grant.
The Women’s Sports Foundation and espnW presented the Hispanic Coalition of Greater Waterbury, Inc. with a 2017 Sports 4 Life grant. The Hoops-n-Laces grant was intended to increase participation and retention of girls- ages 11 to 18 years old- in youth athletics. By making sports more accessible, Sports 4 Life allows young females the chance to learn the foundational benefits of sports, such as leadership, confidence, self-esteem, and perseverance.The sports for life grant w
