4th Annual 2018 Connecticut Statewide Fatherhood Conference

2018 Fatherhood Conference ADMISSION -$22.00

This is a one day fatherhood conference event, with guest keynote speakers, Ingrid Canady Executive Director of Connecticut State Education Resource Center and Ted Talk’s, Dwight Stitt.


There will be 10 workshop offerings that will range in topics; such as,  the racial injustices and its impact on fatherhood, fatherhood and early childhood development; fathers with cognitive limitations, intimate partner violence interventions, motherhood gatekeeping, paternity and child support services,  social welfare policy; healthy relationship and marriage education; co-parenting; child support; fatherhood development; motherhood development; working with incarcerated fathers; faith-based approaches; statewide projects and initiatives.

This conference will also present awards to providers, social workers, fathers and fatherhood figures who have made a direct positive impact on the importance of engagement with fathers and providing a positive fatherhood role. Breakfast and Lunch will be included for attendees. finally, 5 cec’s will be offered.
